Here are the boys from Lepanto.  They had a great hunt, getting into the hogs right off the bat.  Had a great time hunting with these fella’s and I hope they are coming back soon.

Great hog hunts

The hog hunting is really starting to heat up out on the island, the woods are clear of leaves and a couple of controlled, well semi controlled burns and we have really cleared a lot of land.   We are seeing a lot of hogs at the feeders and that is leading to a very high success rate right now.

We have been very busy hunting and that has not left a lot of time for updating the blog.  Here are some recent hunt shots.

Here is a neat picture of some hogs getting out in the rain.  I haven’t had anyone hunt this bunch yet but I have a hunter and his son coming next week and I think this will be the first sounder we go after.

PORK!!

This is a lot of pork hitting the feed.  These pictures were taken this week, this particular camera does not have a time/date function on it.  There were about 215 pictures taken in a 3 day period these are just the highlights. 

Hogs looking for lunch

I guess these guys are looking for a little lunch, this is a spot I call the jello hole.  I have been baiting this spot with strawberry jello and corn and they usually get in it the night I bait it.  This was during the full moon I think.
